We are rightfully proud of being free divers and, with humbleness and perseverance, we train for that meter or that second more in the abyss. Many of our friends know that we are free divers, some of them perceive it as an extreme sport but how many (even among our loved ones) really understand the hours that we spend while training, maybe when it’s cold in the winter, and can really rejoice of our success when we finally set our new personal record?
With SHARKNET we can share our training routines with other freedivers, discuss them and ask for suggestions. For the benefit of our friends that don’t practice this sport, however, we can even set up our SHARKNET server so that it posts our best performances over the social media: locations, number of dives, depth, temperature, durations and even more, according to the settings we’ll choose.
True: we don’t need to advertise our performances to the whole world, but sharing our love for this sport makes us closer to old friends and, possibly, might even draw us to meet new ones!
